FBI agent John Robertson

In 2016, former FBI agent John Robertson discovered messages on the computer of disgraced congressman, Anthony Weiner, who at the time was the husband of Huma Abedin, the top aide and girlfriend of failed presidential candidate, Hillary Clinton. Weiner questionably had 600,000 of Clinton's emails on his computer, some containing classified information he should not have been privy to in any measure.

The messages revealed Weiner was sexting an underage 15-year-old girl. The messages were sexually graphic and disgraceful. The things he stated to her were so inappropriate and alarming. The messages also indicated Weiner, a father of one, was trying to meet the 15-year-old girl for illegal sex. Weiner also had child porn on his computer.

Robertson brought it to the attention of FBI officials, who did nothing about it for a month, then corruptly and criminally told him to delete all the messages. The FBI immediately launched a cover-up of Weiner's criminal behavior to protect Clinton and Weiner. Covering for high profile pedophiles is standard behavior for the FBI, as they did so for Jeffrey Epstein and also became child porn distributors in sick acts condemned by child welfare groups (Human Rights Activists Slam The FBI After It Is Discovered They Became The World's Top Distributor Of Child Porn).

Robertson stated, "The crickets I was hearing was really making me uncomfortable because something was going to come down. 'Why isn't anybody here? Like if I'm the supervisor of any (counterintelligence) squad … and I hear about this, I'm getting on with headquarters and saying 'hey some agent working child porn here may have (Hillary Clinton) emails. Get your a** on the phone, call (the case agent) and get a copy of that drive,' because that's how it should be. And that nobody reached out to me within, like, that night, I still to this day don't understand what the hell went wrong."

John Robertson feared he would be made a 'scapegoat' when he found the new emails less than two months before voting day, in the wake of DailyMail.com's revelation that Anthony Weiner, whose wife Huma Abedin was Clinton's top aide, was sexting an underage girl.

Robertson watched nervously as the bureau did nothing for a month until he went outside the chain of command and spoke with the US Attorney's office overseeing the case. The only advice from his bosses was to erase his office computer, which meant leaving no record of his investigations, a new book says.
