Florida Governor
Ron DeSantis Accused Of Disappearing As Omicron
Variant Of Coronavirus Spreads Like Wildfire
January 1. 2022
Ron DeSantis
The man who has been dubbed
America's most hated governor, Ron DeSantis, proudly
took credit for Florida's reduction in COVID cases a
few months ago, even though he gave out unscientific
advice, while acting as a lawyer pretending to be a scientist.
Now that the Omicron variant of the
coronavirus has been sweeping America, producing a
record 500,000 cases in one day, with Florida
registering horrific numbers, DeSantis has
disappeared. Don't take my word for it. Orange
County mayor (Orlando,
Florida), Jerry Demings, has slammed DeSantis
for hiding and not returning calls during the new
outbreak.
Demings stated to the press, "Our
residents, all Florida residents, should be outraged
and they should ask the question, ‘Where is our
state? Where is our governor? Where is Ron DeSantis
now?’ When is the last time you saw the governor do
a press briefing on COVID-19?'"
And to think DeSantis wants to be
President of the United States. He'd hide in the White House for weeks
and months when anything bad happened and refuse to talk to the
rest of the government. He is not presidential
material. He is not even gubernatorial material. He
is simply not good under pressure.

Florida mayor: DeSantis has been MIA during
omicron surge
ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) — The mayor of
one of Florida’s largest counties on Tuesday blasted
Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis, saying he has been
missing in action during the latest wave of
COVID-19, as some counties brought back mask
mandates for government workers and other
municipalities opened up new testing sites in
response to overwhelming demand.
The mayor of Orange County, home to
Orlando, said local governments had been forced to
figure out on their own, without help from the
state, how to respond to the omicron variant that
has rapidly overtaken the delta variant as the
dominant strain of the coronavirus in Florida.
Florida hit a new record for daily
cases last weekend, with the state reporting 32,850
new cases on Saturday. The state reported more than
29,000 new cases on Tuesday.
