Former Florida Politician Andrew Gillum Found Inebriated In Hotel Room With Man Overdosing On Crystal Meth (Video)

March 14. 2020

Former Florida gubernatorial candidate, Andrew Gillum, was found inebriated on the floor of a hotel suite on Miami's South Beach, with two men present. One of the men, who is gay, male escort Travis Dyson, was found naked on a bed and overdosing on illegal drugs. The discovery was made by Aldo Mejias, whose name the room was booked under.

A call was made to paramedics regarding the medical emergency. Authorities found three small baggies of the illegal drug crystal meth in the hotel room. Police stated Gillum was too inebriated to respond to their queries about the incident. However, Dyson was rushed to the hospital and has since been medically stabilized. Police stated no charges will be filed.

Ron DeSantis and Andrew Gillum had a hotly contested race for the governor's job. DeSantis later prevailed after local issues with the counting of votes.

Gillum, a married father of three, stated he was in town for a wedding, had too much to drink, but was not doing illegal drugs. However, a journalist for the Miami New Times, Jessica Lipscomb, is disputing his story. Lipscomb spoke to the third man in the room Dyson, then she stated on social networking, "Just spoke with Travis Dyson, a friend of @AndrewGillum who was in the hotel room last night. He says Gillum did not mention anything about a wedding."

Oh dear. This is so sad. Gillum has asked for privacy at this time, as the story has a certain connotation to it. The stories circulating in the mainstream press and on social networking are undoubtedly difficult for his poor wife and children. The implications will have a negative impact on his marriage. No wife could take such a story well.
