Gawker Tries To Defend Terrible Christine O'Donnell Story

October 30. 2010

Christine O'Donnell

In the face of stunning condemnation from liberals and conservatives alike, the Gawker website, published a new article attempting to defend its sexist, vulgar and crude story on congressional candidate, Christine O'Donnell, who slept nude in bed with a man, whilst inebriated three years ago. The Gawker site states it is attempting to out her as a hypocrite, for telling people not to have sex before marriage, but their article reveals she did not have intercourse with cash for tell-all cad, Dustin Dominiak.

Dominiak stated she was drunk, yet he was about to have sex with her anyway, which in some circles is branded rape. He knew she was drunk and when people are inebriated, they are not in control of their faculties and usually do not remember what transpired during that time. I saw a drunk man outside the mall the other day and he was singing "Da Do Run Run" at oncoming traffic. Certainly, if he had been sober, he would not have been doing that.

Once again, the story is three years old. Therefore, why bring it up now, in a thinly veiled bid to tank her congressional campaign. In future, O'Donnell needs to be careful of who she lets into her life, as some people will take advantage of situations when one is vulnerable.

There is nothing wrong with abstaining from sex until marriage and it is best to stay away from situations, where one ends up going further than one originally intended to. As for Gawker openly promoting the message of getting drunk and hopping into bed - do remember, it promotes the spread of HIV and other STDs.
