Golden Girl Rue McClanahan Has Died

June 3. 2010

Rue McClanahan

Actress, Rue McClanahan, most known for her role as "Blanche" on the hit sitcom "The Golden Girls" has died of a massive brain hemorrhage, in the form of a stroke. There are two main types of hemorrhages - aneurysms and strokes). She was 76-years-old and is survived by her children. May she rest in peace.

The Golden Girls

McClanahan is the third "Golden Girl" to pass away recently. Bea Arthur, who played "Dorothy" died last year. While Estelle Getty, who played "Sophia" died in 2008. Betty White is the only remaining Golden Girl, who is probably quite sad at the news. Here's hoping Betty's faith in the Lord  is in a good place and her life on the straight and narrow, as no one is promised tomorrow.
