Greys Anatomy Star Jesse Williams Ordered To Pay Ex-Wife $50,629 Per Month In Child Support And $270,000 In Legal Fees

After all his talk at the BET awards about being a family man in favor of the rights of African-Americans, especially women, Jesse Williams cheated on his wife and left his family for other women. Williams devastated his wife and children with this behavior. It also turned into a mess divorce.

Williams is currently involved in contentious court proceedings, regarding his divorce from former wife, Aryn Drake-Lee. The two met at university, fell in love, got married and had kids. Then, Williams shot to fame and began behaving in the disgraceful manner common in Hollywood among famous men, regarding cheating on then ditching their long-term girlfriend or spouse.

Williams and Drake-Lee have two children, ages 3 and 4. They dated for 5-years. Then were married for 5-years. Williams earns $521,00 per month from his acting career. As such, the court ordered Williams to pay $50,629 per month in child support and $270,000 for his wife’s legal fees. Williams did not want to pay $50,629 per month in child support.

Williams, via his attorney, argued that he should pay $7,465 in expenses, directly to medical insurance providers, schools and utility companies, regarding the expenses and general upkeep of his children. A court filing on Williams' behalf stated, "The reasonable needs of the children can be met by (Williams) directly paying school tuition, uninsured medical and certain other expenses totaling $7,465 per month."

Well, you broke up your family and cheated on your wife in clear sight of the world. You’ve been spending time with promiscuous women. This is time you could have been spending with you children. Your wife was there for you from the beginning of your career, all the way through to its success. You even stated, "She’s been with me through all different facets of my career." And this is how you repay her. As the phrase goes, "God doesn’t like ugly." You are good looking on the outside, but your heart is the opposite and you need to change that.

You let many black people down, in giving that grandiose speech at the BET awards, then doing the exact opposite of what you said you stand for in life. You made this mess. It’s time for you to do the right thing and clean it up. Make amends with your family and stop setting a bad example.

For the black community to heal and grow, we have to realize the importance of the family unit. This is not being emphasized enough. Too many men are fathering children through unprotected sex, then abandoning their responsibilities as fathers. Things get a little tough and you walk out on your family, which is not right. Mothers are being left to raise kids, who develop low self-esteem and get into criminal trouble, because their father was absent. Your children need you.

In a court ruling filed on Tuesday and obtained by DailyMail.com, the 36-year-old will also have to pay a total of $270,000 in legal fees to ex Aryn Drake-Lee.

Williams and Drake-Lee have two children together from their five-year marriage, including three-year-old son Maceo and four-year-old daughter Sadie. The actor will have to pay $50,629 a month in support from July 1 based on his 'extraordinarily high' monthly salary of $521,000, according to the court ruling.
