Harvey Weinstein's Wife Georgina Chapman Tearfully Speaks About The Rape Scandal Enveloping Her Husband

May 12. 2018

Harvey Weinstein and wife Georgina Chapman, who stated she is “humiliated and so broken”

Clothing designer Georgina Chapman, 42, broke her silence to Vogue magazine about her husband, disgraced former movie mogul, Harvey Weinstein, 65, who has been credibly accused of raping, sexually assaulting and sexually harassing over 100 famous and non-famous women in the entertainment industry. Weinstein denies the claims, but people do not believe him.

The couple have been married for 11-years, but are now separated, as she has filed for divorce. Weinstein is in rehab in Arizona for what he claims is sex addiction and stated to paparazzi on October 11, 2017, "I gotta get help, guys." If he did nothing sexually wrong, why would he need help.

Furthermore, medical doctors do not recognize "sex addiction" as a medical disorder. It is a lack of self-control. However, there are sexual disorders such as engaging in rape, pedophilia and voyeurism that doctors do recognize. The mere fact Weinstein was admitted to rehab for his sexual misbehavior is a dead giveaway regarding the sexual assault and rapes he is believably accused of committing. Weinstein is also a perverted voyeur who likes to secretly spy on people in their homes and hotel rooms. He's very sick.

Chapman stated of the scandal surrounding Weinstein, "There was a part of me that was terribly naive – clearly, so naive. I have moments of rage, I have moments of confusion, I have moments of disbelief! And I have moments when I just cry for my children. What are their lives going to be?...What are people going to say to them?...It’s like, they love their dad. They love him...I just can’t bear it for them! "

Chapman is a beautiful woman. However, she only married unattractive Weinstein, who is also old enough to be her father, because he was very rich and famous. I do believe she was attracted to his fame, wealth and connections, not so much him. It's not like she married an older man like actor, George Clooney, who has kept up his looks.

Weinstein introduced her to a very wealthy lifestyle, helped her stalled, modest film career and bankrolled Chapman's fashionline Marchesa when they began dating in 2004 and got famous actresses to wear it on the red carpet to create publicity for the brand.

However, I do believe Chapman loves her children and is genuinely scared for them regarding the scandal and disgrace their father brought on the family. Let's face it, as they age, people are going to treat them differently because of what their dad did and not in a kind way (maybe you should change their last names and move them to your home country of Britain, because more scandal is coming regarding Weinstein).

For the past few years, Chapman lived a life of luxury, received special treatment and press and public attention for being a movie mogul's wife, who counted Barack Obama, Michelle Obama And Hillary Clinton as his close friends (they did favors for him they should not have, but more on that later).

Being Weinstein's wife opened a lot of doors. People would roll out the red carpet. Now, the only thing they roll out are embarrassingly painful lawsuits exposing his criminal behavior. The special treatment has turned to sorrow and disgrace over his terrible actions. Now Chapman she is worried about her children, who will face hatred and mockery from classmates, as well as public ostracism as time progresses, over the sins of their father.

I warned women on this site before scandal struck Weinstein, to be careful who they have children with (the same goes for men choosing a mother for their future children) when I stated regarding having kids with famous men, "Women also need to think about this: many famous men that were once rich have gone broke and or ended up disgraced."

Choose someone of good character, who is a decent human being. Sometimes people can fool regarding what they are truly like. However, sometimes the warning signs are there and you ignore it, such as abusive behavior, alarming rages, constantly flirting with other people, willingness to cheat in business deals and other financial transactions.

Don't be fooled by fame and wealth, as those things can disappear. Case in point, there was a time when OJ Simpson (Orenthal James Simpson) was the top athlete in America. He was considered the nation's most bankable athlete, after winning numerous sporting events and awards. He was well liked, constantly mobbed by fans, women threw themselves at him and he was given special treatment wherever he went.

Now he is an ex-con, who spent years in prison, his millions are gone and his name is in a very bad way, due to the murder of his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson. It happened overnight on June 17, 1994 when he was arrested as the top suspect in his wife's gruesome murder.

After years of brutally beating his wife, which was kept quiet, including a previous arrest that showed her with significant bruising, he became the main suspect in her murder. He was acquitted, but arrested again a few short years later for armed robbery and kidnapping. He spent 9-years in prison for the offense.

In the 1970s, Nicole Brown Simpson, OJ's second wife, went after him, going to great lengths to get his first wife out of the way, to marry and have kids with him. However, OJ turned out to be the worst thing that ever happened to Nicole. Now, her kids are left to deal with the tragic legacy and shame of what happened regarding OJ, not to mention Nicole's horrible death and it has been very difficult for them.

The warning signs were there. OJ would cheat on Nicole and beat her before they ever got marriage. OJ would buy gifts for other women and berate or beat her when she found them and asked him about it. After a few years of marriage, OJ left Nicole for other women. The divorce was very painful for her. It was a very toxic, painful relationship, but she stayed in it, as he was rich and famous. Then, she married him and it got even worse and ended in divorce. Never did she think her relationship with OJ would lead to her grisly death at a fairly early age.

Georgina Chapman: Harvey Weinstein's ex-wife breaks her silence

The Marchesa fashion designer has given her first interview to American Vogue

Thu 10 May 2018 11.53 EDT Last modified on Thu 10 May 2018 17.00 EDT - Fashion designer Georgina Chapman has spoken publicly for the first time about the scandal surrounding her ex-husband Harvey Weinstein, telling the June issue of American Vogue that she never suspected the disgraced film producer of the multiple sexual assaults of which he has been accused.

The interview will be interpreted as an attempt to rehabilitate Chapman’s fashion brand, Marchesa, which was tainted by its association with Weinstein. This week, the brand controversially secured its first A-list endorsement since the scandal, being worn at the Met Gala by Scarlett Johansson. “Absolutely not. Never,” she replied, when asked if she had suspicions, adding that she has “never been one of those people who obsesses about where someone is.” She later says: “I had what I thought was a very happy marriage. I loved my life.”

The 42-year-old fashion designer, who runs her New York-based label with her business partner Keren Craig, told the magazine that she was “humiliated and so broken” when the news came to light and that it is “still so very very raw. I was walking up the stairs the other day and I stopped; it was like all the air had been punched out of my lungs.”...
