"Hillary Has Virtually No Chance Of Winning"

...Unless The Superdelegates Defy The Will Of The People

March 21. 2008

The web site Politico summed up Hillary's failed bid for the Democratic nomination. They've highlighted the fact that the only way she could take this thing is if the superdelegates went against the will of the people, which would be very detrimental to the Democratic party:

Story behind the story: The Clinton myth

Clinton's campaign rests increasingly on a game of make-believe. One big fact has largely been lost in the recent coverage of the Democratic presidential race: Hillary Rodham Clinton has virtually no chance of winning.

Her own campaign acknowledges there is no way that she will finish ahead in pledged delegates. That means the only way she wins is if Democratic superdelegates are ready to risk a backlash of historic proportions from the party’s most reliable constituency. http://www.politico.com
