Julie And Todd Chrisley Sentenced To Prison For Tax Evasion And Bank Fraud

November 21. 2022

Todd Chrisley and wife Julie

Reality stars, Julie and Todd Chrisley, have been sentenced to time in federal prison for committing bank fraud and engaging in tax evasion. The couple starred on the reality series "Chrisley Knows Best" with their children. The show, which features their beautiful Atlanta home, became a hit.

The Chrisley's wealthy lifestyle was on display on the program and it may have gotten them into trouble. They presented then tried to maintain an image that was not real, as they had not legally earned the money to pay for their lifestyle. It was obtained through bank fraud, then not paying their taxes.

Todd was sentenced to 12-years in prison. Julie was sentenced to 7-years in prison. Both were sentenced to 16-months probation (scheduled to be served after their terms). To make matters worse, the couple's 16-year-old son met in an accident last week, where he sustained head injuries. I'm sorry all these bad things are happening to them.

The irony is the family is funny. They could have carried a reality show without the plush mansion. It's not worth the trouble they have gotten into regarding the prison sentences. To go from a mansion to a prison cell will not be easy. However, with good behavior they could serve much less time, be released and rebuild their lives.
