Former model Christine Baumgartner, 49, the second wife of Hollywood actor, Kevin Costner, 68, has finally agreed to move out of his $145,000,000 beachfront property in Santa Barbara, California, after 18-years of marriage. Costner's court papers expressed the concern Baumgartner would, "Rob him blind."

Baumgartner has been fighting the prenup she signed with the actor in attempts to get more money and his vast property. Under the prenup she is only entitled to $1,400,000 which Costner has already paid, and $200,000 he gave her earlier in the marriage. Costner complained in court that Baumgartner more recently charged over $200,000 to his credit card, for items such as plastic surgery.

The couple have three children, ages 13 to 16. Costner has four older children from other relationships. Rumors in the press stated Baumgartner had an affair with one of Costner's friends living at his estate for free. Neither party have confirmed or deny this claim. Baumgartner formally requested $248,000 per month in child support. Costner refused the exorbitant sum, referring to it as "inflated." It gave the appearance that it was Baumgartner's way to use their children to get around their prenup, and extract as much money as possible from the actor. The judge gave Baumgartner half that sum.

Baumgartner refused to vacate Costner's home, defying the prenup she signed, which specifically stated in the event of divorce papers being filed, she must leave the property within 30-days. The estate in Carpenteria, which is a town in the celebrity enclave of Santa Barbara, has four homes on the property and vast ocean views. Santa Barbara is home to celebrities such as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex (Harry and Meghan), and television host Oprah Winfrey.

Costner stated in legal papers, "Christine can afford to move. She has at her disposal almost $1,500,000 in cash to find alternative housing, Multiple 4-bedroom, 4-bathroom lovely homes are presently available, located in close proximity to Kevin's separate property residence...Kevin made multiple offers to assist her in relocating." However, Baumgartner is clearly having a hard time downsizing from a $145,000,000 property to a $1,400,000 house. Not to mention, the $145,000,000 property has beach front acreage that can be subdivided, with mansions built on the property made for sale, further increasing its value.

So desperate to keep Costner's wealth and his prized property, Baumgartner began disclosing itemized details of his income and spending. For example, Baumgartner told the world Costner made $22,000,000 last year and owns ten properties. In court papers Baumgartner fought to stay in Costner's estate and she disclosed the lavish lifestyle she is used to with him, and why she should be able to remain in the property.

Costner filed legal papers to have Baumgartner vacate the property in accordance with their prenup. Costner had given Baumgartner a reasonable sum of money to find another home, but she refused, as she'd be walking away from over $200,000,000 in his ten properties, and her youngest child is projected to turn 18 in 5-years, which is when child support is scheduled to desist.

The judge presiding over the case granted Costner's request. Baumgartner then vacated the premises under court order. However, Costner escapes the divorce with the majority of his money and property, which has clearly upset Baumgartner. She is walking away with approximately $10,000,000 over the next 5-years, when Costner is worth $400,000,000. Baumgartner wanted half. Therefore, leaving with $10,000,000 and over 5-years as opposed to $200,000,000 in cash and property has infuriated Baumgartner, who has been walking around looking quite glum.

Costner earned his fortune. Baumgartner did not, allegedly broke up his first marriage, then lived in absolute luxury with a man she clearly did not love. Baumgartner should have abided by the terms of the prenup and not put up a massive fight to take Cosnter's estate and scrape out as much of his cash as possible, as it has damaged her name.
