Male Model Harry Uzoka Killed In Murder Plot By 'Obsessed' Rival George Koh Over Girlfriend

July 18. 2018

People sometimes underestimate jealous. It can drive people to do strange things. Even commit murder. I see famous and non-famous people on social networking trying to make their love interests or former partners jealous and it is a dangerous game. While others become so jealous of rivals they imagine the worst of them and look for a reason to harm others.

Some people are unbalanced and will snap. Case in point is 24-year-old male model George Koh, who is on trial in London for murdering rival Harry Uzoka. Koh stands accused of participating in the murder of 25-year-old Uzoka. Koh was not as in demand as he use to be. Meanwhile, Uzoka's career began taking off with print ads for big brands. Koh began copying rising Uzoka, which infuriated the latter. Uzoka slammed Koh for copying him and labeled him a fake.

The Daily Mail stated Koh was obsessed with Uzoka and did his best to look like him, copying his every move and contacting his friends like a stalker, "George Koh was also a model, not as successful as Uzoka, and it seems that Uzoka was annoyed by Koh because the less successful Koh attempted to copy Uzoka and, indeed, some said that they looked alike,' he said. 'Uzoka was also annoyed because Koh made contact with some of Uzoka's friends."

Koh began bragging that he had sex with Uzoka's girlfriend Ruby Campbell, who is also a model. Uzoka demanded he and Koh settle the matter face to face. Uzoka and his roommate, Adrian Harper, brought a metal pipe to the confrontation, while Koh and two of his friends (24-year-olds Jonathan Okigbo and Merse Dikanda) brought machete knives. Uzoka was stabbed in the heart and died shortly after. All three men deny the murder charges. However, text messages and a witness reveal the two men had a confrontation, after deciding to meet up near Uzoka's home.

What a senseless waste of life. People need to learn to avoid violent confrontation. People also need to learn not to provoke others. Koh's jealousy and obsession with Uzoka, made him engage in acts aimed at mentally, then physically harming him for no reason other than envy and unprovoked hatred. Now a young man is dead in what was the prime of his life and those responsible for his murder must be brought to justice for this evil act of violently robbing him of his life.

'Obsessed' rival 'stabbed male model who starred for GQ and Zara to death when Instagram feud over girlfriend turned into showdown with knives and dumbbell bars'

Published: 09:26 EDT, 16 July 2018 | Updated: 20:22 EDT, 16 July 2018 - Harry Uzoka, 25, who worked for brands such as Zara and Mercedes, was killed in London. A fashion model was stabbed to death by an 'obsessed' rival after an Instagram feud over a woman, a court heard today. Harry Uzoka, 25, who worked for brands including Zara and Mercedes, allegedly fell out with fellow catwalk star George Koh, 24, who he had branded a 'fake' in a series of social media exchanges.

Jurors heard Mr Uzoka showed another model messages in which he warned lookalike Koh to 'stop copying him'. After being told that Koh had bragged about sleeping with Mr Uzoka's model girlfriend Ruby Campbell, he said he wanted to settle the row 'face to face', the Old Bailey in London heard.

The pair arranged a confrontation in Shepherd's Bush, West London, on the afternoon of January 11, the court heard. Richard Horwell QC, prosecuting, said to his 'discredit' Mr Uzoka recruited his flatmate Adrian Harper as back up and both men armed themselves with dumbbells. But jurors heard Koh took two friends, Jonathan Okigbo and Merse Dikanda, both 24, and 'at least three knives' - Koh with two and Dikanda with a big machete-style blade...
