March 18. 2021

A gun-toting man has been arrested for going to the home of U.S. vice president, Kamala Harris. The Secret Service arrested 31-year-old, Paul Murray, based on his presence outside the vice president's home, with a rifle and ammunition in his possession, giving the impression he was there to kill Harris. He went there to kill an unarmed woman, which is misogynistic and cowardly. The vice president was not home at the time of the incident.

Criminal intelligence bulletin for Paul Murray

The Secret Service also made the arrest based on data they had on Murray from his home state of Texas, indicating he is a threat to Harris' safety. Yahoo News reported, "officers responded “at approximately 12:12 pm, to the 3400 block of Massachusetts Avenue, NW in reference to a suspicious person based on an intelligence bulletin that originated from Texas, who was detained by US Secret Service."

In 1981, former U.S. president Ronald Reagan was shot by crazed gunman, John Hinckley Jr. In 1963, former U.S. president, John F. Kennedy Jr., was shot and killed in Texas, in a case still shrouded in mystery. Therefore, security must be vigilant regarding those who would seek to do harm.
