With Fractured Skull, Broken Leg And Meth In His System

Police found naked, injured baby in the woods
A 13-month-old baby boy was found naked in the
woods of Oregon. The child had sustained a fractured skull and
broken leg. The illegal drug meth was found in his system. He
had been taken from his lawful guardian in West Virginia by his
father. Police have arrested the baby’s father, 26-year-old
Brandon Blouin, who took the child and placed him in danger.
Blouin has been arraigned on extensive child
endangerment and neglect charges. He is scheduled to go to trial
in April. The drug epidemic sweeping America continues to harm
families, due to the reckless behavior it creates. Courts must
adhere to a strict policy of assigning and enforcing drug
rehabilitation orders for offenders, with the hope of combating
the epidemic.
