Nicki Minaj Fails To Get The Number One Spot On The Charts After Attacking Her Ex-Boyfriend Safaree On Social Networking

Last week rapper Nicki Minaj attacked her ex-boyfriend Safaree Samuels on social networking, after completely slamming him during a radio interview. Nicki made serious allegations against Safaree, who is also a rapper and has become a popular reality star on "Love And Hip Hop Hollywood." Safaree left Nicki, but the public did not know all the reasons. In Nicki attacking Safaree during the interview and online, some secrets came out that did not work in her favor.

Nicki stated she paid for Safaree to get a new hairline via a hair transplant, at a cost of $10,000, but because in her estimation he is bad, the hair fell back out as God punishment. People lose their hair all the time, it doesn't mean they are bad and God is punishing them. It could be aging, trauma, stress or pulling the hair too tightly for hairstyles.

Nicki also accused Safaree of stealing her credit card and using it to pay for prostitutes. Safaree stated she lied and that Nicki gave him the credit card and pin to take care of her business. Safaree became upset at all of her insults and let the secret out of the bag that Nicki stabbed him and paramedics had to take him to the hospital, as he almost died.

Safaree stated he lied to the paramedics and police, stating he tried to kill himself, because she would have been arrested and imprisoned for attempted murder had he not done so (Nicki rapped about it on a previous song called "Bed of Lies" and people did not know it was true, but this Twitter feud confirmed it).

It also happen more than once. Prior to that incident, she attacked him with a knife, but to a lesser degree. The website TMZ has seen a security video of Nicki chasing Safaree with a knife. The last incident that required hospitalization caused him to leave her, which she has not gotten over. He still cares for her as well, but that was a toxic relationship.

These revelations did not help Nicki's album sales, as people have been calling her a domestic violence abuser and stating when singer Chris Brown did the same thing the public slammed him no end and called for boycotts. It also did not help that Nicki's album did not have a hit single to lead off its release.

Nicki's album sold 83,000 copies and received an addition 97,000 copies in streaming sales, which represents people listening to and not buying it. Nicki's rival Travis Scott came in at number one with 94,000 copies sold and 126,518 in streaming. Nicki complained that Scott benefited from concert tour tie-ins (bundles) and that he did not truly have the number one album. She stated, I spoke to [Scott]. He knows he doesn't have the #1 album this week."

Rival rapper Cardi B used this incident to make fun of Nicki in calling her a "b***h" and the VMA awards show yesterday. Then to add to the insults, Scott performed on the show and stated "Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin, rest in peace" (Nicki also had a dispute with Aretha over the rapper's vulgarity) and stated his release was indeed the "number one album" in the country.
