Obama $40 Million, Hillary $20 Million April 3. 2008
Hillary is still trailing behind presidential candidate Barack Obama in many ways. It was reported this week that Obama has raised a record $40 million for his campaign, trumping Hillary's $20 million. Hey Hillary, maybe Bill can give you a big donation from his offshore accounts in the Caribbean he's not paying taxes on, according to Bloomberg News. *Aisha singing the Cayman Islands' theme song* "The Cayman islands. Just a few know of us, but those who know us love us. The Cayman islands" Sorry, I'm from the Caribbean, I had to get that plug in there, LOL. And plug # 2 "One Love" by Bob Marley is Jamaica's theme song. And like the theme song says, Bill sure loves the Cayman Islands, cha-ching! (sound of cash register heard) Over to you, Hillary (smirk).
Obama tops $40 million in March Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) raised $40 million in March — twice as much as Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.), who took in $20 million in her second-best fundraising month, the campaigns announced Thursday. Obama's take — from 442,000 donors — is less than
the record $55 million he raised in February. |
