Obama School Speech Still Scrutinized

U.S. President Barack Obama's planned school speech, scheduled to be televised in classrooms all across America, is still being heavily scrutinized.

It seems strange, as Presidents Reagan and Bush, respectively, gave speeches to students. Therefore, why is it a problem now, for a sitting U.S. President, to give a speech to schools.
