Police Officer Amber Guyger Gives Dubious Explanation For Shooting And Killing Financial Analyst Botham Jean In His Apartment

September 11. 2018

Botham Jean

26-year-old Price Waterhouse Coopers financial analyst, Botham Jean, who is originally born on the island of St. Lucia in the Caribbean, was shot and killed in his apartment in Dallas, Texas, by police officer Amber Guyer, who claims she thought it was her apartment.

Guyer, who was in uniform, was on the wrong floor of the building. She was also parked on the wrong floor of the building. The doors of the apartments open with FOB keys, which are digitally controlled and thought to be safer than standard metal keys. They will not open the wrong door unless they are tampered with or reset by building’s management, which is a highly unlikely scenario. Why would they reset Guyger’s key to open Jean’s door.

However, Guyger is questionably claiming Jean’s door was open, the lights were off and she saw a dark silhouette, which she shot at, hitting the target. Ms. Guyger must be one exceptional shooter as she shot Jean in the chest and abdomen, in the dark.

Amber Guyger

In short, I don’t believe Guyger’s story. I find it highly unlikely Jean had his door open and was stumbling around in his apartment in the dark. Neighbors also told police and the press that they heard Guyger banging on Jean’s door and yelling, “Let me in! Let me in!” Witnesses also heard what are believed to be Jean’s last words, “Oh my God. Why did you do that?”

Another neighbor told a local newspapers that she too had mistakenly gone to the wrong floor in the past, but immediately recognized her mistake, due to the floormats being different from her own and that of her neighbors. Why did Guyger not notice the different floormats. That's a big clue one is at the wrong apartment.

Guyger is the only witness we know of regarding the murder of Jean. As the only other witness we know of, the victim, was murdered by her, Guyger can say anything she wants to about the night in question, but her retelling of events contradict what neighbors heard, are illogical and insulting to the dead.

Guyger had no excuse for being in Jean’s apartment, especially without a warrant. She also managed to shoot and kill and upstanding choir leader and financial analyst who is loved by many in Dallas and his home nation of St. Lucia. I have to state this because I and others have notice a pattern from white supremacists, who seek to discredit minorities, who are victims of crime, by impugning their character, after they were killed by police in cases of excessive force or by lawless individuals such as George Zimmerman (in the murder of Trayvon Martin).

Speaking of that, the ADL website posted a photo of Guyger posing with her brother, who is making white power prison sign with his fingers, connected with the white supremacist group the Aryan Brotherhood (Aryan Nation). She was comfortable enough to smile and pose for a photo with her brother doing such a thing, which sends the message she shares his racist views. It clearly colored her judgment regarding Jean.

Guyger has been charged with manslaughter. However, she really should have been charged with first degree murder. This case is very disturbing, unsettling and dumbfounding. The public is owed a proper explanation. People of color all over America and in the international community are shocked, appalled and alarmed that an innocent person can be killed in their home. People are mortified by what Guyger has done and she should be punished to the full extent of the law. You can't trespass in someone's home, kill them, then go oops. A price must be paid. That price should be prison.

'Let me in, let me in!' Witnesses say they heard white Dallas cop knocking on door and shouting before she shot her black neighbor in his apartment, disputing her story that his door was ajar when she arrived at his apartment thinking it was hers

Published: 09:45 EDT, 11 September 2018 | Updated: 14:51 EDT, 11 September 2018 - Neighbors of a white cop who shot dead a black man in Dallas on Thursday night after walking into his apartment have disputed her claim that his door was ajar when she arrived at it. Seconds before Amber Guyger, 30, shot Botham Jean in the chest, one neighbor said they heard a woman in the hallway knocking on a door and yelling: 'Let me in, let me in.'

Another neighbor then heard gunshots and afterwards claimed to have heard a man shouting: 'Oh my God. Why did you do that?' The witness told Jean's family's lawyer Lee Merritt they think those were his last words. Jean's mother Allison said she believes there is more to her son's death than has been revealed. 'I'm not satisfied that we have all the answers,' she said.

Jean, who worked as an associate for the the finance firm PwC and was from St Lucia, lived one floor above Guyger in the South Side Flats building. Her attorney did not respond to DailyMail.com's inquiries on Tuesday. The neighbors' accounts significantly undermine her claim that Jean's door was ajar when she arrived at it after returning home...
