Prosecutors Decline To Prosecute Sexual Assault Cases Against Kevin Spacey And Steven Seagal Due To The Statute Of Limitations Expiring

The district attorney's office in Los Angeles has declined to prosecute criminal cases against Hollywood actors Kevin Spacey, Steven Seagal and Anthony Anderson for sexual assault. In the Spacey and Seagal cases, respectively, the statute of limitations has expired. Spacey sexually assaulted men and underage boys in California. Seagal has sexually assaulted and harassed women in the industry for many years (both famous and non-famous women).

The district attorney declining to prosecute the cases does not mean Spacey or Seagal did not commit sexual assault in each incident. People have been complaining about them for years, but due to the corruption in Hollywood the cases got nowhere. As stated previously on the site, the government needs to change the statute of limitations rule. In Britain there is no statute of limitations. A crime can be pursed in criminal court at any time.

The district attorney also declined to prosecute a sexual assault case against "Blackish" actor Anthony Anderson, due to the witness no longer cooperating. This likely means the complainant signed a settlement deal with the actor in exchange for not pursuing the case.
