Louisiana rapper Boosie trended on Twitter all day yesterday, regarding comments he made about retired basketball player, Dwyane Wade. Recently, Wade announced that his 12-year-old son Zion is transgender and has renamed himself the female name Zaya.

Boosie and many others have taken exception to what has occurred, stating a child should not be making such a decision, as he may change his mind later and cannot undo the damage of gender reassignment surgery. Studies and report indicate a vast majority of people who undergo gender reassignment surgery regret having the procedure done.

At 12, they don’t even know what they next meal is gonna be. They don’t have s**t figured out yet. He might meet a woman, anything, at 16 and fall in love with her.
