Kanye West meets with President Donald Trump at the White House

Rapper and reality star Kanye West has expressed his support for U.S. President, Donald Trump. He has also met with him in the White House. Last month, West shocked social networking by announcing he is running for the post of President of the United States.

In the July 10, 2020 article "Kanye West Running For President Of The United States Being Met With Skepticism As A Ploy To Help President Trump (Video)" I stated "West is a friend and supporter of U.S. president Donald Trump and the rapper's campaign is being met with skepticism. Democrats are openly stating online that West's candidacy is a ploy to take African-American votes away from Joe Biden, to assist Trump. West's has a large fanbase and he would certainly take some African-American youth votes from Biden."

Now it has been confirmed. West has "Senior Republican strategists" working with him on his campaign. They are aiding him on getting on the ballot in various states and giving him campaign advice, as he has a large fanbase of African-Americas (and other races), which would chip away at the black vote for Biden.

Vice website reported, "A top Colorado GOP strategist is helping Kanye West to get on the ballot in her state, the latest in a series of Republicans who have stepped up to help the hip-hop star in his odd presidential bid. Rachel George, a longtime Republican operative in Colorado, sent an email to at least one other local GOP strategist on Tuesday asking them to sign West’s Presidential Electors' Acceptance of Nomination form so he can appear on the 2020 ballot in Colorado."

The question is what is Kanye getting out of all this. In writing this article I'm reminded of the movie "Air Force One." In the film during a crisis, the President of the United States, tells an African-American secretary that he will make her Postmaster General, which is a big step up, if her idea helps him during the serious problem they are facing. It turns out, her idea worked.

So in short, Kanye is trying to be Postmaster General of the United States (LOL). Can you imagine Kanye as Postmaster General. The mail would be late, ticked off and have an attitude on top of it. Not to mention, all postal workers would be wearing Kanye's clothing line and Yeezys sneakers.

Can you imagine all U.S. stamps looking ticked off like this. Send it on letter to people that get on your nerves (LOL).

Democrats are just waking up to the seriousness of what it means regarding Kanye taking black votes away from Biden's campaign, as the subject began trending today on the social networking website Twitter. It's kind of ironic though...one former reality star helping out another one (LOL).

Kanye Has a Senior GOP Strategist Helping Him Get on the Ballot in Colorado

August 5, 2020, 12:52pm - A top Colorado GOP strategist is helping Kanye West to get on the ballot in her state, the latest in a series of Republicans who have stepped up to help the hip-hop star in his odd presidential bid.

Rachel George, a longtime Republican operative in Colorado, sent an email to at least one other local GOP strategist on Tuesday asking them to sign West’s Presidential Electors' Acceptance of Nomination form so he can appear on the 2020 ballot in Colorado.

George begins the email by asking for “the most random favor”: Would they be willing to serve as an Electoral College representative for Kanye West? It’s clear from the tone of the email, obtained by VICE News, that she thinks it’s a rather funny, last-minute effort to mess with Joe Biden and Democrats...

Kanye West's bizarre 'campaign' is designed to help Trump

Updated 5:51 PM ET, Wed August 5, 2020 - (CNN)We need to talk about Kanye. It's easy to dismiss the bizarre presidential campaign of the rapper -- who has bipolar disorder -- particularly after his series of disjointed tweets following his chaotic South Carolina kickoff event. His behavior compelled his wife, Kim Kardashian West, to call for compassion and respect for her family's privacy. The situation seems closer to a regrettable public breakdown than a presidential run.

But there are a handful of Trump-orbiting GOP operatives pushing West's helter-skelter, supposedly independent campaign for president. According to CNN, one such operative with ties to the Trump campaign, Lane Ruhland, has filed paperwork to get West on the ballot in Wisconsin.

But West and his team are working to get on the ballot in several states, including Arkansas, Illinois and Missouri -- even listing a self-described "biblical life coach" from Wyoming as West's running mate. West cannot win the election. He's missed too many deadlines to get on the ballot in too many states. But he could be a spoiler for President Donald Trump's reelection by siphoning off key portions of the Black vote in select states like Wisconsin and Ohio, with filing deadlines this week...

Republicans Aid Kanye West’s Bid to Get on the 2020 Ballot

Published Aug. 4, 2020 Updated Aug. 5, 2020, 6:20 p.m. ET - The effort to get Kanye West on the ballot as a third-party candidate in several states is increasingly looking like an operation run by President Trump’s allies and Republican activists that is aimed at diverting votes from Joseph R. Biden Jr.

The move, which comes as Mr. West’s wife, Kim Kardashian West, has said her husband is struggling with mental illness, underscores that this will be an unusual, and unusually bare-knuckled, presidential election. The strategy became overt on Tuesday, when Lane Ruhland, a lawyer who has worked for the Trump campaign, delivered ballot signatures to Wisconsin elections officials on behalf of the West campaign.

Ms. Ruhland worked for the state Republican Party during Wisconsin’s recount in the 2016 presidential election. She has been representing the Trump campaign in a lawsuit filed this year against a Wisconsin television station for airing an advertisement criticizing the president’s coronavirus response.
