Rick Perry Rising In The Republican Party And Gaining On President Obama

August 16. 2011

Rick Perry

Texas Governor, Rick Perry, is rising in the Republican party, due to his well-received speeches. As a result, Perry has been gaining on U.S. President Barack Obama in the polls. Perry has been highly critical of the Obama Administration and the manner in which, Federal Reserve Chief, Ben Bernake, has handled the ongoing financial crisis. It is clearly resonating with voters, hence his rising poll numbers.

Meanwhile, President Obama has hit the road in a tour bus, pitching his agenda for the nation to the American people. Many of President Obama's speeches contain the same message he has proclaimed throughout his presidency, but falling financial numbers revealing the economic decline of the nation, are undermining his promises.
