Rick Ross Accused Of Stealing Name

Miami rapper Rick Ross, real name William Leonard Roberts II, is being accused of stealing his name from a convicted drug dealer. The incarcerated Florida felon's name is "Freeway Ricky Ross." Recently, I wrote about the Smoking Gun decimating the image of Rick Ross, the rapper that is, in an expose that revealed him to be a former prison corrections officer.

For the record, there is nothing wrong with being a corrections officer. It is an honest living, which is better than selling drugs. One should seek to leave crime behind, not embrace that lifestyle.

The accusations also come after an incarcerated former drug trafficker named Freeway Ricky Ross accused the Florida rapper of taking his name to create a fake street image.
