Singer Doja Cat In Trouble Over Racist Conduct

24-year-old biracial singer, Doja Cat, real name Amalaratna Zandile Dlamini, has caused quite a controversy online and just as she beat Beyonce and Megan Thee Stallion to the number one spot with her song "Say So" (featuring rapper Nicki Minaj). Bitter Beyonce tried to challenge the number one.

Doja, who is half black (South African) and white (Jewish-American), has been a member of a white supremacist video chat group, who repeatedly slur ethnic minorities. Doja is said to have participated in a chat with the racist group as recently as 2-weeks ago. What I don't understand is how they thought she was white. She looks black, even with the European wigs.

Doja also publicly made disparaging comments about her hair, as it is a black-African texture. When in its natural state her hair is a kinky afro and there's nothing wrong with that. However, she hates it. Doja, like Beyonce, repeatedly wears wigs to hide their natural hair texture and length. Doja demeaned her African hair in the presence of her white boyfriend, who tried to comfort her regarding her complaints. She is full of self-hate and needs to deal with those issues. There's nothing wrong with being black or any race.

A song Doja released in 2015 also re-surfaced entitled "Dindu Nuffin" regarding her mocking African-Americans, who are arrested by police. Considering the rampant police brutality against black people in America, the song is highly inappropriate. Why mock something so serious and terrible.

Many black people online have cancelled Doja, as her self-hating behavior has reached ridiculous heights. To show disapproval for Doja's offensive behavior, the term #OnlyKlans (as in the KKK) trended for days on the social networking site Twitter, lampooning and slamming her behavior. Doja has apologized, but her career has taken a big hit (and I don't mean a hit record).

Doja Cat was canceled, and then uncanceled, for what some are calling her 'racist past.' Here's a timeline of the Twitter drama.

May 25, 2020, 3:06 PM - Pop icon Doja Cat is more online than many celebrities. She first broke into the public consciousness with a viral single about being a cow (aptly titled "Mooo!") and is now known for her music inspiring dance challenges on TikTok.

But she's also no stranger to internet drama. Notably, people online attempted to cancel her in 2018 for using a homophobic slur, and she defended her use of before apologizing. Now, the #dojaisoverparty has trended on Twitter once again, after videos surfaced that appeared to show the singer participating in a video chat that included alleged members of the alt-right. Meanwhile, an old song from the singer that used racist language targeted at victims of police brutality resurfaced, leading to many to accuse Doja Cat of being racist...
