Singer and songwriter, Kelly Price, famous for her solo work and collaborations with recording artists such as the Isley Brothers, Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey, among others, went missing for three weeks. The website TMZ reported that Price's frantic family, including her kids, filed a missing persons report with the Georgia police, whilst stating her boyfriend had been keeping the singer from them.

TMZ also reported Price was discharged early from a Georgia hospital's ICU department, while suffering from COVID-19. Police made a welfare check at Price's Georgia property and her boyfriend refused to cooperate or let them in the property, which further alarmed people. Early this morning, Price's attorney came forward and stated she is not missing but is recovering from COVID-19 at a private location.

Elements of this story has still alarmed the public, such as Price's boyfriend blocking her family, including her children, from seeing her, and not cooperating with police. It gives the impression she is being controlled. He is treating her like a child, which is not right. She is a grown woman and successful singer/songwriter.

People who love you will not try to isolate you from your family. Psychologists associate such behaviors with people seeking to isolate and exploit others, and pushing their families out of the way, so there will be no accountability or resistance in getting their unethical way. Someone behaving in this manner cannot be trusted and has an ulterior motive.
