Pop singer, Shakira, 45, and Barcelona FC footballer, Gerard Pique, 25, have broken up after 11-years together. The couple lived together for over a decade and share two children (Milan, 9 and Sasha, 7). Shakira's net worth is $400,000,000 and Pique's is $100,000,000.

Shakira did not want to get married, stating it would keep him on his toes. However, it's sad they did not get married, as her goal of keeping him on his toes via just living together did not work. Pique was exposed in the press for cheating on Shakira with a blonde 20-year-old hostess.

Social networking has expressed their disappointment in Pique for cheating on Shakira. I can only imagine the trauma it has caused their children. The irony is Gerard has thrown away his family over a fling with a woman who does not love him.

A 20-year-old hostess cheating with a 35-year-old athlete is not about love. It's about wanting his money and fame. Pique is deceived. He is having a midlife crisis in his mid-thirties, which is early, and ruining his life in the process.

I know of another a case like that. An athlete in his early thirties lost his girlfriend of many years of the same age, due to cheating. He hooked up with a 19-year-old as it appealed to his ego. However, she wanted money and did not like him, as she was in love with someone else of her own age, who dumped her for being money hungry. Then she began dating the athlete in his early thirties due to his money and fame. However, behind his back she's insults him to her gossiping Instagram model friends in derisively mocking him for his age (to a 19-year-old, someone in their early thirties is old). She repeatedly refers to him as "old" behind his back.

My point is some of you are throwing away your relationships with people who actually love you for gold diggers who do not. You will regret these decisions, they damage families and cause lasting regret.
