The City of Chicago has slapped disgraced Hollywood actor,
Jussie Smollett, 36, with a $130,000 lawsuit, over the hate
crime hoax he perpetrated. Smollett, an actor on the fallen Fox
show "Empire" was sued today by the City of Chicago's
legal representatives, for wasting police time and resources.
Smollet filed a fraudulent police complaint, where he lied in
stating he was the victim of a homophobic and racist attack on
the streets of Chicago. Smollett falsely alleged two white, who
are President Trump supporters, beat him up, doused him in
bleach, tied a noose around his neck and stated of him, "You're
that 'Empire' fa**ot ni**er'." He also stated they yelled "MAGA
country" (Trump's "Make America Great Again" slogan). After
weeks of investigation, Chicago police exposed the entire thing
as a hoax, perpetrated by Smollett and two friends from "Empire"
he paid.
The City of Chicago's lawsuit states, "This follows his refusal
to reimburse the City of Chicago for the cost of police overtime
spent investigating his false report on January 29, 2019."
Smollett should be legally forced to repay the city for this
insane, sick stunt he pulled, in trying to get a raise from the
television show and increase his profile, via publicity in
playing victim.
Smollett damaged race relations, made light of the real
struggles of legitimate victims of crime and cost police time
and money. He should face the legal consequences for these
misdeeds. The fact of the matter is Smollett made the whole
thing up and it's only a matter of time before the full truth
comes out.
