This is a follow up to yesterday's
article "The FBI Seized The
Passports Of Former President Donald Trump." The FBI/DOJ
stated Trump lied about them stealing his passports.
However, after yesterday's embarrassment, the agency
stated they will return the former President's
passports to him.
The FBI/DOJ are mentally ill to have
done this. It was a Nazi tactic done to bully and
harass a former head of state. It set a vile precedent that
they can bust into anyone's home, at anytime and
take their passports or anything else they feel
like, without a court order.

If they did that to
Trump (and they did), who is a former President,
what's to stop them from doing that to you. It is
very disturbing. The FBI keeps drifting further and
further into criminal territory, denying people
their rights under the law.
The FBI/DOJ have once again proven
they are liars who can't be trusted. The search
warrant for Mar-a-Lago did not include Trump's
passports. Yet, once again, the FBI defied a sitting

FBI/DOJ source after being lied to by the agencies
The FBI broke the law in arrogantly
taking the passports without court approval. This is one of
the things I dislike about the FBI; their word means
nothing, they have no integrity and they are thieves.
They are criminals, who don't know their place. Why
can't they follow the rule of law.

Department has hit back at Donald Trump's claim the
FBI stole his passports during the raid on his
Mar-a-Lago mansion.
An insider told CBS the agency does
not have the documents but added whatever was seized
that was not on the warrant will be returned. It
comes after the former president on Monday claimed
his passports were taken, which would mean he could
not leave the country...

tweet not up to CBS reporting standards: sources

Evening News anchor Norah O’Donnell is rankling
journalists at CBS News with her tweets about former
President Donald Trump’s passports, with some
griping that she played it fast and loose according
to CBS News’ reporting standards.
O’Donnell tweeted Monday that she
had been told by a “DOJ official” that the FBI was
“not in possession” of Trump’s three passports,
which contradicted the former president’s statement
that his travel documents were taken by FBI agents
who searched his Florida home last week.

O’Donnell came under fire over her tweets about the
Trump investigation. But the anchor attributed the
information to a single source — a big no-no at CBS
News, which has a strict two-source protocol, angry
CBS sources told The Post. They added that the
tweets also made it sound like O’Donnell was calling
a former president a “liar.”
“This is an embarrassment for CBS
that the face of the your network can’t even make a
second call to a Justice Department rep,” one livid
source said. “It’s journalism 101.” The FBI had
returned the documents earlier in the afternoon,
according to now-public correspondence between
Trump’s camp and the DOJ.

In a written statement to The Post,
a CBS rep defended O’Donnell’s series of tweets.
“Donald Trump publicly alleged that his passports
were ‘stolen’ and in the hands of the FBI. As part
of the normal reporting process, our reporters
inquired with the DOJ about whether they had Donald
Trump’s passports,” a CBS rep said in a statement to
The Post.
“They replied that they did not,”
the rep added. “Our reporting reflected that; it was
true then and it is true now that the FBI was not in
possession of his passports at the time. And as the
tweet thread makes clear, any items that were not
contained in the warrant would be returned.”
“It’s still bad journalism,” the
source punched back. “She didn’t ask if the
passports were ever in their possession. She didn’t
say ‘no longer in possession.'”

Trump gets passports back after FBI raid
following wrong report by CBS anchor O’Donnell

President Donald Trump said Tuesday that the federal
government had returned his passports that were
taken by FBI agents who searched his Florida home
last week — after “CBS Evening News” anchor Norah
O’Donnell tweeted incorrectly that the Justice
Department did not have the travel documents.
“The DOJ and FBI just returned my
passports. Thank you!” the 45th president wrote on
his Truth Social platform Tuesday evening.
“Unfortunately, when they Raided my home, Mar-a-Lago,
8 days ago, they just opened their arms and grabbed
everything in sight, much as a common criminal would
do. This shouldn’t happen in America!”
Trump initially accused the FBI of
taking the passports Monday afternoon — an explosive
allegation that suggested investigators believed he
was a flight risk or faced potential charges that
would prevent him from leaving the country.
“Wow! In the raid by the FBI of
Mar-a-Lago, they stole my three Passports (one
expired), along with everything else,” the former
president wrote at the time. “This is an assault on
a political opponent at a level never seen before in
our Country. Third World!” he added...
