The New Whitney Houston Biopic Looks Dreadful (Video)

I saw the trailer for the new Whitney Houston biopic "I Wanna Dance With Somebody" and it is awful. It looks corny and fake. The casting is horrible (for both Whitney Houston and Clive Davis). The acting looks stiff and inorganic. What a disappointment.

Whitney Houston was one of the most accomplished and gifted singers in music history. She deserves better than this sub par, weak looking movie that has the appearance of a poorly done made-for-TV biopic. Whitney's legacy deserved more than this. In the future anyone who watches this cheesy looking film will never know how truly great she was as an artist. Why would you do that to her.

Why can't Hollywood get these biopics right. I'll tell you why. The current demonic nitwits running the industry know nothing about filmmaking or what makes great television viewing. The old school got the Tina Turner, Jacksons and Temptations biopics right (among others).

Why is it the current set of underachieving idiots in Hollywood have been allowed to ruin so many recent biopics of very acclaimed people, to the point they flopped at the box office, got panned by audiences on social networking, ended up costing the studios money, and worst of all, damaged the legacy of very notable public figures. What's the sense of making them, then. This is idiocy.

I was very disappointed with the Aretha biopic, which I wrote about on my Twitter page and it later flopped. I was also disappointed with the "Quantum Leap" reboot, which I slammed on Twitter, and it has since flopped/tanked in the ratings.

I don't understand why anyone would waste a budget to film some of the garbage you all do now in Hollywood, when the industry used to make such great films. Yet, these projects get greenlit and placed in the wrong hands, who make a mockery of greatness, by adding their idiotic take on it.

The mere fact prior to releasing the finished product, you all can't see this stuff is done incorrectly and is substandard, says to me you do not belong in entertainment. These crazy cultists running the industry now are going to be the destruction of Hollywood.
