"The Real Housewives Of Atlanta" Star Divorce

Sheree Whitefield, one of the stars of the reality show, The Real Housewives Of Atlanta, has dropped her Georgia Supreme Court case against her husband, Bob Whitfield, regarding the financial details of their divorce.

She stated on the show that she hoped to get a “seven figure settlement” from the divorce, but now concedes her husband may have, “Squandered his NFL fortune.”

It was announced recently, that she and her children were ordered to leave the $3 million dollar Atlanta mansion, the marital home they occupy, in the suburb of Sandy Springs.

Former residents of the city of Sandy Springs include actress Halle Berry and her ex-husband, former Atlanta Braves baseball player, Dave Justice.

Ironically, Bob Whitfield also owns four homes and a $4 million dollar recording studio in mid-town Atlanta called "Patchwerks" that is used by many mainstream artists, meaning there are billings aplenty. It’s strange that he is reportedly broke.

Lawyers claim Bob Whitfield has squandered his NFL fortune

Former Atlanta Falcon Bob Whitfield has squandered his fortune and failed to pay child support for his two children for 15 months, his ex-wife’s lawyer said Monday.

For this reason, Sheree Whitfield, a star of the TV reality show “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” dismissed her appeal of the couple’s divorce case that sought alimony from the former football star, her lawyer, Michael Weinstock, said.

“The man hasn’t paid a dime” in child support, Weinstock said. “Mr. Whitfield’s going to have to figure out how to pay the money.”

Weinstock made the claims during arguments before the Georgia Supreme Court in which he and Bob Whitfield’s lawyer, Christopher Olmstead, leveled accusations at one another.

Olmstead argued that Sheree Whitfield, 38, or her lawyers, should pay up to $2,500 in penalties for bringing a frivolous appeal.

“This is an affront to the court,” Olmstead said. “The icing on the cake, the cherry on the sundae” arrived Monday morning when Sheree Whitfield’s lawyers filed a motion to dismiss the appeal, he said...

Sheree Whitfield appeals divorce to Ga. Supreme Court

Bob Whitfield, 36, is a recently retired NFL player who once played for the Atlanta Falcons. Sheree Whitfield currently appears on the popular reality TV show, “Real Housewives of Atlanta.”

The trial court awarded her custody of the children and $2,142.87 a month in child support. It also awarded her a division of the marital property totaling more than $1.1 million and including a lump sum payment of $775,000. It gave her half of the marital portion of three NFL retirement plans. But the court did not award alimony.

The court awarded him nearly all the real estate, including four homes, and the recording studio, Patchwerks, which he founded. Her lawyers moved for a new trial over the denial of alimony. The lower court denied the motion, and she now appeals to the Supreme Court...
