Thief Steals Song Notebook And Guitar From The Home Of Deceased Singer Amy Winehouse

August 15. 2011

Amy Winehouse

Talk about grave robbers. The family of the late singer Amy Winehouse, is reporting someone stole her song notebook and guitar from her Camden home, after her death. The notebook contained unreleased songs in the form of lyrics, which are quite valuable.

Only an industry person could  truly benefit from such a theft, because why would a real fan steal something of that order to keep it to themself. The songbook would be useful to someone in the entertainment world, whether it be a writer, producer, label executive or singer pretending to be a songwriter - and the industry is full of such frauds, who would pay cut-rate prices to criminals, to get their greedy hands on other people's copyrights, via commissioned burglaries, among other things. Winehouse's family need to secure her computer  as well.
