Incarcerated rapper, Tory Lanez, has been behind bars awaiting sentencing for shooting his then-girlfriend, Meghan Thee Stallion. Lanez petitioned for a new trial, but his request was denied by the judge. Yesterday the judge presiding over the case sentenced Lanez to 10-years in prison. The mother of his young son wept outside the courthouse. In California 10-years in jail is like 2-minutes due to over crowding. I'm kidding but not by much. With good behavior and due to overcrowding he could serve less time.

The fact of the matter is he made the choice to shoot Meghan. No one forced him to do so (and even then it wouldn't be an excuse). Shooting another person is a serious crime. It's not something to take lightly. He could have seriously disabled or killed her, and must face the consequences of his actions.
