U.S. Senators Rip Automakers

Members of the U.S. Senate committee slammed domestic automakers General Motors and Chrysler for closing thousands of dealerships across America, leading to the unemployment of over 100,000 people and the loss of revenue to other companies that do business with their corporations.

This case is another reminder of how fragile the U.S. economy is that this situation deteriorated to this extreme in two short years. Most people never thought they'd see the day America was turned upside down like this. It should serve as a warning to corporate America for the future, not to repeat the unspeakably greedy acts that led the nation to this place.
