Woman Faked Her Abduction To Hide The Fact She Dropped Out Of College And Gets Arrested For The Fraud That Wasted Taxpayer Money

May 6. 2023

Chloe Stein

Going to college is challenging for many people. Some find the prospect daunting, as it is a lot of work and sometimes in a new surrounding one has to adjust to in a short space of time. However, if you work hard and stick with it, you can graduate with a degree, increasing your earnings potential.

23-year-old Chloe Stein panicked and decided to fake her own abduction to hide the fact she had dropped out of Penn State University and would not be graduating. Stein did not want her family to know she was not going to graduate. Stein is now facing four misdemeanors and expulsion from college.

Stein had stopped going to university for 2-years, but did not tell her family. Stein further engaged in conduct that gave the appearance she was abducted, which led police on a wild goose chase that cost the taxpayers tens of thousands of dollars, and created dread and fear in the region regarding a criminal being on the loose kidnapping people.

Yahoo News reported, "Stein told officers she was pulled over and abducted 'by an unknown male who posed as a police officer,' the criminal complaint said. She said her abductor had a firearm, she was blindfolded and taken to various locations in the area, the complaint said."

Yahoo News also reported Stein was arrested on, "Tuesday evening and has been charged with four misdemeanors: false alarm to a public safety agency, falsely reporting an offense that did not occur, obstructing administration of law, and disorderly conduct, court records show."

People think your decisions through. If you are not doing well in school tell your parents and someone in the faculty, who can help you get back on track with graduation. Parents you need to not put too much pressure on your kids. Some of you project your own hopes on your children, pushing them into professions they did not even want to be in.

Some of you have caused your children unhappiness and misery with this conduct. Stop it. Find out what your child likes and is good at, then help them find schooling in that field. God gave you your life to live, not your life and your child's too. Unless your child wants to do something catastrophic, let them be what they want to be.
