Woman Sentenced To Jail For Falsely Claiming Two University Football Players Raped Her

November 3. 2018

Nikki Yovino

In October 2016, Nikki Yovino lied to police stating two Sacred Heat University football players raped her in Connecticut. She made up the entire story to gain sympathy from a man she likes, which is very disturbing. The two football players lost their scholarships and were plunged into depression, due to Yovino falsely accusing them of rape to the police. They ended up leaving university after being expelled over the lies she told. She ruined their lives.

In actuality, she consensually had sex with both men in a bathroom (toilet). The police investigation unearthed the truth. During the course of the investigation Yovino admitted to police she made up the whole story to get sympathy and attention from a man she was interested in. Police then arrested Yovino on misdemeanor charges of falsely reporting an incident and interfering with police. She accepted a plea deal of 1-year-in jail in exchange for telling the truth.

During court proceedings, Yovino repeatedly rolled her eyes during sentencing. She also sighed and rolled her eyes during the testimony of the men she falsely accused. She showed absolutely no remorse. She deserves more than 1-year-in prison. Rape is not a joke or a tool to make someone feel sorry for you. It is a very serious crime. When people lie about rape, it makes it much more difficult for real victims to be believed.

I will state this. The rampant promiscuity in some segments of society is opening the doorway for people to make all sorts of false allegations. The two aforementioned young men and the young woman who cried rape, were supposed to be in university to learn and get their degrees. What were they doing having threesomes. That's not what your parents sent you to school for, as it has nothing to do with obtaining your degrees.

Too many students have the wrong mindset about university. You are there to learn, not party and have sex with everyone in sight. Stop buying into the myth that university is supposed to be about staying out late, wild parties, drinking and promiscuous sex, lest you ruin your young lives. Study, get your education, get your sleep and don't form terrible habits just because you're in university and think it's time to cut loose. You are not going to get the most out of university by doing that.

Celebrities are also to blame for the current, promiscuous sexual climate in society. Celebrities who publicly brag about their wild sexual lifestyles and all the women they have and threesomes they experience, are setting up impressionable audiences for a fall, in trying to imitate their reckless sexual behavior.

Malik St. Hilaire was falsely accused of rape

Famous men are also setting themselves up for a fall with said promiscuity, as some women cry rape and get innocent people into trouble (for money, sympathy or due to being dumped). Meanwhile, some women say no and get raped anyway. This messiness needs to stop. No one deserves to have their rights violated, whether in being raped (which didn't happen in this case but has in others) or being falsely labeled a rapist (which happened in this case).

Some famous women are no better in what they publicly espouse, showing off about whorish sexual behavior with a host of men, acting like a walking sperm bank. They say these things to get many men to like them on social networking. Meanwhile, impressionable girls and young women are listening to that mess you are falsely labeling sexual liberation. You equate being a feminist with being a whore, when feminism is about respecting yourself, your rights, your body and others. Feminism is also about equality.

Genital herpes and HIV continue to spread at a rapid rate in society. So many famous men and women have sexually transmitted diseases. A number of famous men say yes to just about every woman who propositions them, whether it be gold diggers, groupies or prostitutes (then they sleep with man famous women as well and pass the STDs along to them). It's not a good look. Neither is bragging about it. Being sexually indiscriminate is not a good thing. It's not good for your health, mind, body or soul. Sex is supposed to mean something. However, people are sleeping with any and everybody like it’s no big deal, when it is a big deal.
