Another Woman Beaten On A Public Bus Signaling A Regrettable Trend That Must Stop

October 18. 2012

19-year-old Ernestine Parker says she was attacked and beaten for 8 city blocks by two men on a public bus in Maryland. Parker stated no one on the bus would help her and the driver kept going without stopping during the incident. This marks the second high profile beating of a public bus patron, as Shidea Lane was beaten by a city bus driver after she allegedly hit him. The Judiciary Report hopes this alarming trend of violence on bus transport in America will stop, as it is unnecessary, dangerous, a safety hazard and will breed costly lawsuits that can be avoided.
