Rapper and record label owner, Sean “Diddy” Combs, 49, has been
mourning the death of well liked model Kim Porter, 46, who was the mother of
three of his five children. She died this past Thursday of a heart attack. She
was sick with the flu for weeks. A month ago Diddy broke up with his
ex-girlfriend, singer Cassie. The two dated for 11-years, even while he went out
with Porter at times. This past weekend, a devastated looking Diddy was spotted
with Cassie. She entered his chauffer driven vehicle.
Diddy posted a tribute to Porter on Twitter yesterday which
stated, “For the last three days I’ve been trying to wake up out of this
nightmare. But I haven’t. I don’t know what I’m going to do without you baby. I
miss you so much. Today I’m going to pay tribute to you, I’m going to try and
find the words to explain our unexplainable relationship. We were more than best
friends, we were more than soul mates. WE WERE SOME OTHER S**T!! And I miss you
so much. Super Black Love.”

Previously, Porter stated in an interview that
she and Diddy speak on the phone everyday. That was pretty big
of her considering their rocky past. Diddy left Porter for
singer/actress Jennifer Lopez. After Diddy got into criminal
trouble during a night club shooting with Lopez present, the
singer left him. Diddy then went back to Porter. However, he
continued cheating with others. After more cheating occurred,
Porter left Diddy and took the kids. Diddy cause her a lot of
pain in her life.
Porter’s passing is a difficult time for his family. Diddy is
now faced with raising his 11-year-old twins Jesse and D’Lila, who lived with
Porter in Los Angeles. It’s going to be very difficult to explain to an
11-year-old the concept of death and the trauma and grief that accompanies
bereavement. He should get the girls counseling to help them through this
traumatic time.

People on social networking have been slamming
Diddy and Cassie for reuniting immediately after Porter's death,
as photos were splashed in the press. People do not think it is
appropriate in light of what happened. Porter never seemed fond
of Cassie either. The whole thing looks disrespectful.
Sensing public sentiment is against her, Cassie paid tribute to
Porter on Instagram, "There are no words. An amazing mother to her beautiful
family, lit up every room she entered and now the most beautiful angel. Sending
so much love and my condolences to the Porter and Combs family. I love you @quincy,
@kingcombs, Jessie, D’Lila, Chance, @princejdc and @diddy. Puff you are already
the best father. I know you will be amazing."
