Hollywood Actor Kevin Costner And Wife Christine Baumgartner Are Still Fighting In Divorce Court As She Reportedly Cheated On Him And Is Now Trying To Financially Wipe Him Out

Christine Baumgartner, 49, is still fighting husband, Hollywood actor Kevin Costner, 68, in court, trying to take as much of his money as she can. Baumgartner has been trying to void their prenup, which gave her $1,400,000. Costner is worth $400,000,000. There's no way she is walking away and allowing another woman or his other children prior to their marriage, to get the bulk of that money, at least not without a fight.

Baumgartner has been showing her true colors that she never loved Costner. She loved his money and fame. She allegedly began cheating on him with a family friend her own age. The two were spotted together in Hawaii. Social networking is of the belief she filed for divorce and expected to get at least half of Cosnter's wealth, but thus far it has not worked out that way.

Baumgartner challenged Costner on everything she could and is now demanding he pay her legal fees after she lost the first few rounds of legal wrangling. Baumgartner is demanding Costner pay her $885,000 in legal fees. She could have worked things out with him privately outside court, but decided to sue in an attempt to wipe him out. She ran up these legal fees, now wants him to pay it, which would take away cash from his ability to produce movies and television shows, the very thing that has kept her in luxury for years.

Tue, September 12, 2023 at 2:44 PM EDT - Kevin Costner’s lawyer, Laura Wasser, seems to have had it up to here with Christine Baumgartner’s divorce court demands. The high-powered Hollywood attorney fired off a harsh response to the court after Costner’s estranged wife requested to have him pay $885,000 in legal fees.

TMZ reported that Baumgartner wanted a “mini-trial” for one particular issue in their prenuptial agreement: whether “her waiver of spousal support is enforceable.” Her legal team is estimating it will cost that astronomical amount to research and prepare for the case, but Wasser is calling their bluff. She did the math and noted that it would work out to “1,106 hours to justify the fee,” which she described as “nothing short of outrageous.” Costner’s lawyer believes this is another tactic to get more money out of him, especially since the judge has already determined that “the prenup is enforceable.”...
