Madonna Queen Of Reinvention? Not!

October 22. 2008

Man-donna

Madonna likes to tout her unoriginal, untalented self as the queen of reinvention. However, in actuality, she is actually the queen of drag queens that steals from everyone else.

Aretha Franklin

For years beginning in the 60's Aretha Franklin has been reinventing herself with different hairstyles, hair colors from black to blonde, various clothing designs and musical sounds.

Cher did the same beginning in the early 70's, with pop and dance music and various image changes, while Madonna was still shoplifting from local stores in Michigan, though she puts on a horrible accent trying to sound like she is from Marylebone.

Talk about butchering the beautiful British accent. How pretentious of Madonna, as Aretha's Michigan accent served her just fine all over the world.

But back to what I was stating regarding the reinventions. Madonna was not the first to do any of this, but erroneously believing if she blitzkriegs the media with press releases, in vain attempts at trying to enforce this myth, she would somehow be credited with something she did not originate. What a con.

Cher - the same vibe Madonna had in La Isla Bonita many years later

However, those who really know about music and its history, know the truth. This woman hasn't come up with a single original thing and made her money from criminally robbing others. But history will correct itself. Watch and see.

I can't think of one artist in music history so neurotic and obsessed with creating an image, albeit an untruthful one and taking it to such sick extremes, that she bribes journalists for favorable coverage and robs every Tom, Dick and Harry in trying to maintain a now decimated illusion. She's sick in the head.
