Sony Music pop lip syncer, Britney Spears, has been dethroned as the star that is the favorite of teenagers. Cyrus actually has talent, as she can sing, where Britney seriously lacks it. She is also an actress, where Spears has miserably failed in that endeavor. For further proof see “Crossroads” (link).

It is undeniable, Miley has become more famous and popular than Spears, who has seen her career rapidly decline, practically overnight.

Sony Music inflated sales of her album “Circus,” her tour sales have been poor and public opinion of her is low, based on feedback from many popular websites, with an aggregated readership in the millions.

In other news, singer Stevie Nicks slammed Britney Spears, stating she is not a rock star, doesn’t deserve her one time success and has not paid her dues. This is true.

Wednesday, April 8, 2009, 15:48 [IST] - New York (ANI): Pop princess Britney Spears has lost her teen queen crown to Miley Cyrus, according to a new poll. In an online poll conducted by PopEater.com almost 32pct of the respondents called the Hanna Montana star their favourite teen idol. Another 10pct think she is the best role model, reports the New York Daily News.

The Jonas Brothers came second with 27 pct of the votes, followed by troubled Britney at the third place. The Backstreet Boys were voted the greatest teen idols of the 90s, however, Rob Lowe was voted as the most scandalous idol of all time. Country pop singer Taylor Swift was overwhelmingly named the celebrity who has the best influence on young people...

The infuriated Fleetwood Mac lead singer claims Britney has not paid her dues in the world of Rock and was handed her fame on a plate.
