Mitt Romney Officially Receives Nomination As Republican Presidential Candidate

August 29. 2012

Mitt Romney

Mitt Romney has officially been named the Republican party's candidate for President of the United States and will vie against incumbent, Barack Obama for the presidency. The Republican convention in Tampa, Florida was well attended and marks the home stretch towards election day in November.

Barack Obama

Hurricane Isaac spared the Republican convention, which made Hollywood angry according to the Drudge Report. Seriously, Hollywood is online complaining the hurricane didn't wipe out the convention. You'd think Hollywood would be more worried about the fact they are sitting on very live and active faults that are predicted to produce the earthquake scientists have dubbed "The Big One."
