Twitter reported that police have declined to charge NFL football player, LeSean McCoy, in the violent home invasion that occurred at his Georgia mansion, while ex-girlfriend, Delicia Cordon, her cousin and two kids squatted in the property. The two broke up 2-years-ago, but Cordon refused to move out of his mansion, despite repeated requests that she do so. McCoy plays for the Buffalo Bills and lives in another property.

McCoy and Cordon also had a dispute regarding expensive jewelry she refused to return to him, after he borrowed them on consignment for her to wear at red carpet events she attended as his date. To keep jewelry that was loaned is stealing. While McCoy was in another state (Florida) an angry intruder demanded the jewelry back from Cordon and she refused, which led to her being violently pistol whipped and repeatedly punched. As police have not apprehended the intruder or been able to connect McCoy to the burglary, they have decided to not press charges due to a "lack of evidence."

Delicia Cordon in the hospital after she was attacked in McCoy's home, which she blames him for. She has accused him of sending someone to break into his home, beat her up and retrieve jewelry she states he gave her, but they were loaned to him and he communicated this fact to her.

Cordon has since moved out of McCoy's property, which he has wanted to sell for the past two years, as mortgage, insurance, heating/cooling and general home maintenance costs for such a property are costing him several thousand dollars per month, over a relationship he has long moved on from in every way. The two did not part on good terms, which made McCoy even more eager to remove Cordon from his property and sell the house.

LeSean McCoy not expected to be charged by police or suspended by NFL

Due to a lack of evidence, police are unlikely to charge the Buffalo Bills All-Pro running back in connection with a robbery that resulted in the assault of his ex-girlfriend. Without charges, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport says the league will not suspend him.
