Wyclef Jean Ruled Ineligible To Be Haiti's President

Fugees frontman, rapper Wyclef Jean, has been deemed ineligible to become an official candidate for President of Haiti, after having failed to meet the Constitutional requirements. Jean, a resident of New Jersey, in the United States of America, has not lived in Haiti for 5-years before the election, ruling him out as a possible candidate. His campaign received much criticism from family, friends, Haitians, Haitian-Americans and prominent people on the island.
