Kate Middleton Slammed Online And In The Newspaper For Not Wearing Black To The BAFTA Awards In Support Of Sexual Assault And Rape Victims

February 20. 2018

Kate Middleton was slammed online for not wearing black in support of rape and sexual assault victims. Newspapers report she was not applauded as she entered the BAFTA venue over her clothing choice.

The public reacted very poorly to Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, attending Britain's BAFTA Awards this past weekend and not wearing black in solidarity with entertainment industry women, who have been sexually assaulted and raped. Everyone wore black except Middleton, who was in turn slammed by some actresses and people on social networking, over her decision.

The comments on sites such as Twitter expressed annoyance and disappointment with Middleton. A few tried to claim Middleton was staying out of political matters by refraining from wearing black in support of sexually abused women, as the royal family is supposed to do regarding politics. However, the rape and sexual assault of women is not political. Furthermore, Prince Charles routinely gets involved in political matters, which has drawn the ire of British politicians and the press, as it is constitutionally forbidden for members of the royal family to do so.

The fact of the matter is Middleton is said to be the cousin of so-called director Guy Ritchie, who was invited to the royal wedding as her guest. Ritchie and his ex-wife Madonna are cult members and close friends with industry offenders such as Harvey Weinstein, who was also in the social circle of the commoner-turned-royal.

Middleton has been mixed up with those people from day one and is indebted to them for favors they did for her prior to becoming a royal. This spells very bad news for the royal family, because questionable things are transpiring behind the scenes and it is only a matter of time before they become front page news. The situation with Middleton has the very real potential of bringing the royal family down in a referendum.

Side Bar: Why is Prince William/The Duke Of Cambridge president of the FA (Football Association) and BAFTA (British Academy of Film and television Arts), when he has absolutely no qualifications to hold those positions. His appointment to those posts certainly has not been based on merit. It was handed to him by the Queen, as a member of the royal family, when he is not an expert on filmmaking or the business of football. He has not worked in either industry. So many deserving men and women with experience, who have toiled in entertainment and sports for many years, would be better suited to the job positions.

This is the same thing that got Middleton into trouble a few weeks ago when she started a psychiatry website with absolutely no qualifications in the field. She was an art major at school. The website created a backlash as people complained online she is completely unqualified to be dispensing psychiatric advice (Pregnant Kate Middleton Sports A Lighter Hair Color At Public Event While Launching New Mental Health Site The Public Is Criticizing). I am waiting on the Duke and Duchess to dive into thoracic surgery next (sarcasm).

The royal family keeps handing themselves these grandiose titles not based on accomplishment or merit. When is that madness going to stop. They are going to cause damage one day in assuming the reins of things they have no understanding of in any measure. Earn things for a change. Stop taking items you have not earned.

LUVVY FURY BAFTA luvvies’ outrage as Kate Middleton ‘snubs’ all-black dress code in support of the Time’s Up movement

Ditching the all-black dress code, the Duchess of Cambridge opted to stand out in a dark green Jenny Packham dress

18th February 2018, 7:38 pm Updated: 19th February 2018, 8:45 am - BAFTA luvvies fumed at Kate Middleton last night for failing to wear black to back their campaign highlighting sex harassment. Supporters of the Time’s Up movement included Jennifer Lawrence and Brit newcomer Florence Pugh. But the pregnant Duchess of Cambridge instead wore a green Jenny Packham gown — prompting gasps among actors and film executives on the red carpet.

There was complete silence and no applause when 36-year-old Kate entered London’s Royal Albert Hall alongside Bafta president husband Prince William, 35. Insiders believe Kate, who had a black bag and whose £3,000 dress had black detailing with a black sash around the waist, chose to opt out to avoid being seen as political. But one guest at the showbiz bash demanded: “How is supporting equality for women political?”

Viewers watching at home were also unimpressed. They took to social media to share their views on Kate's fashion decisions. One wrote: "Disappointed in #KateMiddleton #DuchessofCambridge not wearing black to the #EEBAFTAs. It's not a political thing. It's a woman thing! #TimesUp #StandTogether."

Another tweeted: "How does Kate not feel any shame sitting right at the front with a green dress while every other woman is wearing black.
