Molina Healthcare

[ARTICLE BACKGROUND: This is a follow up to the boycott I called for last year against Molina Healthcare (I Do Not Recommend Using Molina Healthcare Who Are Cutting Corners And Killing Patients In The Process and BOYCOTT: Molina Healthcare Stock Downgraded And CEO Sells 15,000 Stocks Cashing Out $1,000,000 and Remember To Switch From Molina Healthcare This Enrollment Period and Molina Healthcare Posts $612 Million In Losses, Loses Two Big Contracts And A Lawsuit Against The Government and Molina Healthcare Hit With Class Action Lawsuits For Deceiving Shareholders In Lying About The Financial State Of The Company Then Losing Nearly $1 Billion Dollars and Molina Healthcare Sued In Class Action Lawsuit For Stealing Pay From Doctors].

Molina is supposed to be a healthcare company. However, it has been sued by one of its employees, Angela S. Johnson, for disability discrimination. A state human rights panel in gave Johnson their backing, after Molina Healthcare engaged in a series of unlawful actions that violates the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Johnson's lawsuit contends she was fired for being disabled. The Press Herald reported, "The lawsuit accuses Molina Healthcare of 'disability discrimination, denial of reasonable accommodations, retaliation and intentional and willful interference of employee’s rights and retaliation for requesting medical leave' as well as 'failure to provide personnel file and written statement of reasons for termination.'"

That's really bad. You expect better than this from a healthcare company. How can you be a healthcare company and engage in abusive and discriminatory acts against the disabled. However, Johnson is not the only disabled person Molina has mistreated. Molina is mistreating the most vulnerable people in society.
