British Public Criticize Royal Couple For Having Third Child On State Benefits

Many British people on social networking have posted comments that are highly critical of the royal couple The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge (Prince William and Kate Middleton), regarding the birth of their third child, a little boy, who arrived today. Many scathing comments were posted about the royal family, due to the large amount of taxpayer money they receive each year to the tune of £100,000,000.

Current British Prime Minister Theresa May has imposed a number of sweeping benefits cuts, some of which has harmed innocent working families in Britain. Some of May's benefits reforms has resulted in the deaths of disabled people, as she has made the system so difficult, rigorous and bureaucratic. Another matter of controversy is the fact May has placed a benefits cap on families who have more than two children. If British families have a third child, they are not permitted to collect benefits for the new arrival.

Many took to social networking to criticize The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge for having a third child on state benefits, when the average British family is not allowed to do so. Thousands of comments on social networking reveal the royal family have fallen out of favor with the British public.
