This week Rihanna released photos of herself with Chris Brown getting cozy with each other. However, when they didn’t know the cameras were watching the two were snapped in different places looking sad and unhappy with each other (Dail Mail UK). The minute they saw the cameras, they began smiling. The implication is they are putting on an act.

Rihanna has been distraught at Brown’s cheating and indifference. However, for the sake of their careers, they have presented a united front for the cameras, with the operative word being "front." They are pretending, especially Chris whose mind and heart is elsewhere.
