Prince Charles Makes Racist Slur About Journalist And It Provokes Public Outrage

April 24. 2018

Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Charles

The royal family is racist. It is a subject I have covered on this site for the past year and some of it from my own experience which left me disgusted by that family (Princess Michael Of Kent Causes Outrage In Wearing Racist Slave Broach To Queen's Lunch Held To Meet Prince Harry's Black Fiancée Meghan Markle and Obama Administration Wastes Huge Sums Of American Taxpayer Money Breaking The Law In America, Britain And Jamaica On Behalf Of Madonna's Kabbalah Center In Committing Egregious Human Rights Abuses ). More evidence has surfaced to support these claims.

Prince Charles made a racist comment to journalist Anita Sethi, upon meeting her in London last week at the Commonwealth's People's Forum. Prince Charles asked Sethi where she's from. When she responded "Manchester, UK" the snooty, racist royal replied in derisive laughter, "Well, you don't look like it" and walked off to meet the next person.

The implication was because she is Indian, she could not possibly be British. This is ironic, as the British royal family is actually German and Germany is not in the Commonwealth. Imagine slurring a woman, whose nation, India, contributed so much to Britain, when you yourself are more European (German), than British by ancestry (no disrespect intended to Germany, a nation that has become very inclusive in shedding so much of its Nazi past).

Prince Charles meeting Anita Sethi

A few years ago, I saw a documentary on India's great contributions to Britain. It is amazing how much they have done for the development of Britain. India is also a part of the Commonwealth. Therefore, no one should make light of how much India has helped Britain and they deserve the nation's respect.

The British royal family is unsuitable to lead the Commonwealth. The royals are racist and the Commonwealth is largely comprised of people of color, which makes the Windsors' behavior all the more unacceptable. We cannot be headed up by a racist family with roots in Nazism. It is completely inappropriate and an insult to us.

Can you imagine if I openly referred to Elizabeth and Charles as the Nazi Queen and Nazi Prince, how offended they would be. Yet that royal family has no reservations in repeatedly spewing out racist slurs against people, thinking it cute and funny, when it is disgraceful. The British taxpayers pay the royals £100,000,000 per year to wave at and be nice to people as a tourist attraction and they can't even do that right. They are a racist, rude, ill-mannered, offensive family. The royal family should be abolished under a national vote.

Dear Prince Charles, do you think my brown skin makes me unBritish?

The Prince of Wales told me I don’t look like I’m from Manchester. If this is how he thinks, he shouldn’t be the next head of the Commonwealth

Thu 19 Apr 2018 13.47 EDT - Last modified on Mon 23 Apr 2018 07.35 EDT - Anita Sethi meeting Prince Charles at the Commonwealth People’s Forum in London. ‘I feel angry that there could be such casual ignorance in the corridors of power.’ I met Prince Charles this week at the Commonwealth People’s Forum at which I was a speaker (on a day whose itinerary was entitled Politics of Hope: Taking on Injustice in the Commonwealth). It was part of the buildup to the Commonwealth heads of government meeting, the summit of leaders of 53 countries representing more than 2 billion people.

I shook the prince’s hand with my right hand. In my other, I was holding a copy of an anthology, We Mark Your Memory: Writing from the Descendants of Indenture, in which I have an essay published. I told him that my mother was born in Guyana and that the anthology had collected hidden histories of indenture.

“And where are you from?” asked the prince.

“Manchester, UK,” I said.

“Well, you don’t look like it!” he said, and laughed. He was then ushered on to the next person. Although I have experienced such off-the-cuff, supposedly humorous, comments before, I was stunned by the gaffe.  Prince Charles was endorsed by the Queen, in her opening speech to the heads of government, to be the future head of the Commonwealth: it’s her “sincere wish” that he become so. That the mooted next leader of an organisation that represents one-third of the people on the planet commented that I, a brown woman, did not look as if I was from a city in the UK is shocking.

We need to skip a generation so that Prince Charles does not become king of the UK or head of the Commonwealth...
