The royal family keeps getting significant financial raises from taxpayer money, totaling millions of pounds, while the British people suffer massive benefits cuts. Some disabled people have committed suicide in Britain due to budget cuts that led to a Work Capability Assessment they feared would lead to an end of their benefits they use to pay for food and shelter. I hope no more suicides will occur and they will get the assistance they need.

This has been occurring while the royal family drinks champagne every single day and lives in absolute luxury on taxpayer money. Prime Minister, Theresa May, recently gave the royal family a raise that brought their budget to £100,000,000 per year. Prince William and Prince Harry were given an increase of £1,500,000 this year, which caused offense among the British public online. This increase was given by May despite the fact the Princes’ mother, the late Princess Diana, left them millions of pounds in a financial trust.

Their father Prince Charles, has run up a massive tab using a private royal train, hitting the taxpayers with a £46,000 bill each time he travels. Prince Charles has racked up a £1,000,000 bill in doing so. The royal family are billed as a tourist attraction, but they have offended so many people of color in the Commonwealth and beyond, they are not even in the top 50 for visitors to Britain.

They speak of their contribution to Britain but the problem is the real estate in the Crown Estate is chock full of property wrongly confiscated by the Royal Family‘s ancestors, taken from the British people over the centuries. The Crown Estate is not a gift to the nation from the royals. It is the property of the British people taken over the centuries to support the royals’ ancestors lavish lifestyle.

Another problem that is brewing has to do with the finalization of Brexit, which is looming on the horizon. On its current path, the forthcoming financial fallout from Brexit, which has already begun to surface, means the British taxpayers will not be able to afford the royal family anymore.

Scotland is threatening to leave the United Kingdom via a second referendum, with polls indicating the national mood is for independence. This would open the floodgates, breaking up the kingdom, which means less taxable revenues.
