Theresa May Slammed In The New York Times As A ‘Racist’ For Her Abominable Treatment Of The Windrush Generation

May 21. 2018

Theresa May

One of the top newspapers in the world, the New York Times, has slammed British Prime Minister Theresa May. This month the New York Times published a scathing rebuke of Theresa May entitled “A New Face Won’t Change the British Government’s Racist Heart.”

The New York Times wrote, “Drafted to replace Amber Rudd, who ‘inadvertently misled’ members of Parliament over targets for deporting undocumented immigrants, Mr. Javid has been given the job of sorting out the so-called Windrush scandal, revelations that the Home Office, which oversees immigration enforcement, had been deporting people who moved to Britain from Caribbean colonies in the 1940s at the invitation of the government. Some 70 years later, the Home Office has said these people no longer have the right paperwork to stay in the country. The revelations have laid bare the government’s incompetence and cruelty.”

May’s behavior and that of her cabinet can indeed be described as “cruelty.” Hiring a person of color, Sajid Javid, from Pakistani descent, to replace former Home Secretary, Amber Rudd, who resigned under scandal, is not going to change the fact May and her government did something unthinkably wicked to the Windrush Generation that we Caribbeans will never forget.

British member of Parliament, politician David Lammy, tweeted about the problems facing his constituents thanks to Theresa May's unlawful conduct. Illegal immigrants hide from government agencies, as they know they are not lawfully in a nation (and I do have compassion for them all over the world). However, legal citizens do not hide, as they are in a country lawfully. They do things like go for passports and ID cards.

I love the British people, but there’s no denying it, May is an enemy of the Caribbean. That’s what her appallingly evil actions have told us. She has severely damaged ties between the British government and the Caribbean people (and the Commonwealth in general, banning visas for Commonwealth doctors, scientists and IT specialists who had job offers in Britain). Those are not the actions of a friend, but a hateful, racist enemy. Her conduct sends the Commonwealth the view we are not welcome in Britain.

May’s hateful, self-professed “hostile environment” is damaging tourism as well. There are people in the Commonwealth, who do not wish to immigrate from their respective nations, but would visit other countries as tourists. How do you think it looks to Commonwealth citizens to see their compatriots who immigrated to Britain, being abused by May and illegally stripped of all their rights and pensions.

May and company sent out deportation orders to Windrush people who are legally in Britain. May, being the evil person she is, threw 60-year-old and 70-year-old grandmothers and grandfathers in jails for several months (until the scandal burst last month and she was shamed into releasing them), falsely claiming they are illegals, when they immigrated to Britain at the request of the British government decades ago, to help rebuild the country after the ravages of World War II. What kind of person does that to others, let alone the elderly. She is an evil barbarian, devoid of any decency or humanity.

Theresa May also unlawfully demanded the elderly Windrush generation repay any housing benefits they received, after decades of lawfully living in Britain and paying taxes into the British system

May stole their hard earned pensions. They lost their jobs, homes and medical care. Some were in dire need of cancer treatments that were cancelled because of May’s evil behavior. They worked for decades in Britain and paid into the British system via taxes, only for May to behave like a vile and despicable slavetrader and illegally take away what they have labored for all their lives. She is scum.

This is not against the British people. This is about May. Does May really think millions of Caribbean people around the world are going to forget what she’s done. We have a say in the Commonwealth. There will be political consequences. May is going to resign under coming scandals or get voted out many years earlier than she could have stayed in office had she not acted like a scumbucket slavetrader stealing old Caribbeans' pensions, denying them crucial healthcare and fraudulently kicking them out of Britain, like slaves being put out to pasture in their old age. It will not be tolerated or forgotten.

May can resign under terrible, upcoming scandals that will be the most scandalous ever in Britain or she can get voted out in a humiliating election, limiting her to one term, when she could have had more. The council elections already proved my predictions right in that she has lost ground and cost her party seats (Labour Party Prevails Over Prime Minister Theresa May's Conservatives Winning And Picking Up More Seats In The Council Election). Just wait till the general election. There will be scandals aplenty well prior to it and people will be mobilized by the next election to vote her out. If she has any respect for her party or blood pressure, she’d step out of the way via resignation and allow someone else to be the candidate for the Conservative.

The choice is hers, but she can’t stay in that job, especially with Britain as the head of the Commonwealth, mostly comprised of people of color and millions of Caribbeans. May’s presence is a massive insult to us, a distraction and offense. The woman is evil. Contempt for May is at an all time high and she provoked it with her evil actions. She must go!

A New Face Won’t Change the British Government’s Racist Heart

Ms. Goodfellow writes about immigration, race and British politics.

May 2, 2018 - LONDON — When a government is in crisis, a frequent tactic to limit damage is rebranding. New logo, new policy name — or new faces. Sometimes it works. It looks like a meaningful response. But more often than not, rebrands don’t mean substantive change. This is what Prime Minister Theresa May is hoping the British public won’t notice with her appointment this week of Sajid Javid as the new home secretary.

Drafted to replace Amber Rudd, who “inadvertently misled” members of Parliament over targets for deporting undocumented immigrants, Mr. The revelations have laid bare the government’s incompetence and cruelty...

Changing the title of Home Office policy is not the same as changing how it works; neither is changing the minister. Without an end to the hostile environment and the government’s inhumane approach to immigration, which treats every person thought to be a migrant with suspicion, Mr. Javid’s appointment doesn’t alter a thing...
