The U.S. Government Gives FBI $30 Billion To Play With

October 28. 2010

 FBI Director Robert S. Mueller

Reuters released a report claiming the U.S. Government has issued the FBI $30 billion dollars in funding for a computer project. Is Congress on crack. This news comes on the heels of a unflattering inspector general report, indicating the FBI's current computer system fiasco is behind schedule and over-budget again

The FBI has such an established track record of financial fraud and failure, allowing a number of terrorists attacks to transpire, such as September 11th, July 7th, Fort Hood and the Christmas 2009 attempted airline bombing in Detroit, among others, when they had credible evidence in advance to stop it. Therefore, how is such a costly move wise during a financial depression.
